Ceremony Details
The wedding ceremony will take place on Matemwe beach, Zanzibar at 3 pm the 8th of
January 2007.
The bride will arrive on a “litter” carried by four strong men in traditional dress, accompanied by local musicians.
In traditional Zanzibari style the groom will arrive on to the beach by either boat, donkey or on a rusty “made in China” black bicycle.
The service will be a traditional Christian service as conducted by an amiable Anglican priest.
Following the ceremony we will be entertained by local Zanzibari musicians while
enjoying a dinner comprised of the fruits of the sea.
